Google Ads
Google AdSense is the best ad program on the planet so far. However, it has many alternatives, but in terms of innovation, user-friendliness and overall experience, no other superior competitor has been able to perform so far. On February 21, 2018, the AdSense team launched Google Auto ads for everyone. This is one of the biggest innovations made by the AdSense team in recent times.
Even Auto ads will change your perspective according to which you have been using AdSense. One of the biggest concerns of most AdSense publishers is ad placement, ad optimization and maintaining great user experience.Google Auto Ads uses artificial intelligence to manage these things for publishers. However, as a publisher, you can manage these things:
Global Settings: When to display ads.
Domain-based setting: Configure which ads to show on which domain or subdomain.Directory Settings: You can configure this type of ads to be shown in a particular directory. For example, in pages with pagination and pages with archives, you would like ads with matched content not to show, then you can control this thing from the settings panel of AdSense. This feature is known as Advanced URL settings.
So far we have received mixed reviews from users about auto ads. Still, I am optimistic about the future of main AdSense’s auto ads as they will lighten the fear of ad optimization from the publisher’s head and the blogger will be able to focus all its attention on building great content. Google AdSense has always been a plug and play program, but now it has become completely automatic. The credit for this goes to Artificial Intelligence.
Important things to know about AdSense Auto ads
For anyone who has ever used Google AdSense, Auto Ads is not a problem at all. However, before using auto-ads, there are some things that you should know. They will answer your questions that are about its integration in your mind. If you have already installed AdSense ads on your blog, you can decide that you do not want to remove them now. AdSense Auto ads will automatically detect them, and more ads will display accordingly.
Are you already using Anchor or Vignette ads? AutoAds includes Anchor and Vignette ads and also includes Text and display ads, In-feed and Matched content ads. Note that all users who use Page-level ads will be migrated to Auto ads, without the need to add any code. Nevertheless, it would be a good idea to login to your AdSense account and set Global settings for Auto-ads.
How to enable Google AdSense Auto Ads?
- Login to your Google AdSense account
- Go to Ads> Auto Ads.
- Click on ‘Setup Auto Ads’.
- Configure Global settings.
- Enabling automatically will bring down new formats.
- Then click on save.
- Now put ad codes on every page of your blog or website. We use the Google tag manager for this. You can use any good technique for yourself. If you are already using page-level ads, then you do not need to do anything.
- You can always check the performance of Google Auto ads by going to My Ads> Auto ads and going to Statistics.
Overall it will be fun to see how Google Auto Ads are cut in the future. Till now, we are getting mixed reviews about it only. Some people are complaining that this system is showing them more ads.But as I ate earlier, over time this is something that everyone has to adapt, so as this system uses machine learning, it will automatically get better over time
